Ethics and Integrity
Chairman’s Statement
At Gulf Gate Real Estate Company (GRC) we promote a culture that mandates and encourages ethical behavior. We conduct business in a manner that adheres to foundational principles and is compliant with all applicable laws in the countries in which we operate.
The global and diversified nature of GRC business activities is subject to a wide variety of regulations, policies, and procedures. GRC frames and defines ethical corporate behavior on national and international levels.
Our code of conduct means acting with integrity, honesty and observing GRC’s core values, policies, and ethical framework always. We aim to maintain measurable objectives that will ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Since the creation of the GRC over 20 years ago, honesty, integrity, and values have always been our core values; Business ethics and practices are the basis of our continued success.
Living in this troubled world, human values and simple good principles are no longer the beliefs of many people around us. One must remember that neither short-term benefits nor shadowing others can excuse us from deviating from our main principles and beliefs. Every single employee is required to hold on to GRC’s three pillars of honesty, integrity, and values.
In the spirit of continuous improvement, we are continuously updating our policies and procedures.
Core Values and Principles & The Code of Practice
GRC’s unique corporate culture with distinct values and practices will be summarized in the form of written two booklets to be called “Core Values, & Principles” and “Code of Practice” with the hope that this Code of Practice will fill all employees with pride in our company’s accomplishments founded on a commitment to these enduring values.
More importantly, the current Values & Code of Practice is intended to provide all employees with a sense of certainty about the rules by which GRC operates and the ethical standards by which the performance of each member of the organization is judged. Above all, the Code of Practice contains recognizable time-tested human values that provide guidance in carrying out corporate activities.
Employees’ uncompromising compliance with this Values and Code of Practice will be honored by Management with due recognition and respect.
GRC undertakes to fully distribute this Values and Code of Practice among our employees and provide regular training on our Ethics & Compliance program. The Values and Code of Practice outlines the acts of ethical values and behavior everyone is expected to diligently follow throughout their employment -informing and outlining the acts that constitute corruption and bribery.

Audits
Over and above regular internal audits and self-assessments, we also carry out regular audits by an International Independent Agent who regularly conduct detailed assessments of GRC’s areas of operations, ongoing projects and facilities, personnel, and records, and investigate noncompliance with management procedures and report.
Accurate Books and Records
GRC requires that all business transactions must be fully and accurately accounted for in our books and records, this is a mandatory legal requirement. Records and books of accounts of Operations must be maintained to accurately reflect each transaction recorded therein. This is one of the most important ways in which corruption is prevented.
Third Parties Commitment to GRC
All Third Parties working with GRC must declare their commitment to GRC’s Ethics and Anti-Corruption prior to carrying out any work on any of our projects.
Third parties must declare that they have read and fully comprehend and commit their compliance and adherence to GRC’s Ethics and Anti-Corruption Program and undertake to ensure that they will take all necessary measures to support, implement and enforce the Ethics and Anti-Corruption and comply with the applicable anti-corruption laws of the country in which the project or operation is being carried out.
Conflict of Interest
A conflict of interest exists whenever an employee’s personal interests are inconsistent with and conflict with the interests of GRC. Employees must avoid any conflict between their GRC role and responsibilities and personal priorities.
Whilst employed at GRC, an employee’s principal allegiance must lie with GRC, and therefore an employee must not participate in activities outside of work that create a possible conflict of interest between an employee’s and GRC’s best interest.
